Hi-Fi Home Theater Showcase Features Uni-Fi Dolby Atmos® Surround-Sound System, Previously Announced Adante Series and Discovery Pro Music Server

DENVER, CO and CYPRESS, CALIF. (Oct. 4, 2017) – ELAC, a leading global provider of high‑performance speakers and electronics, today announced the lineup for its hi-fi home theater showcase at the Rocky Mountain Audio Fest show later this week in Denver, Colorado, including a new Uni‑Fi Dolby Atmos® surround-sound system, the previously announced and soon‑to‑be‑available Adante Series, and Discovery Pro Music Server.

“We’re excited to showcase Dolby Atmos technology on our Uni-Fi concentric speakers; the combination of the two solutions will offer consumers a very affordable, premium option that will ‘transform’ their home theater sound,” said Chris Walker, vice president of product development, ELAC. “Uni-Fi’s 3-way design delivers the most coherent and accurate audio reproduction across the treble and midrange frequency spectrums, and the addition of Dolby Atmos enables audio objects to originate and move anywhere in three-dimensional space as if in a real-world environment.”

In its two showcase rooms (#9025 and #9028), ELAC will feature the following products, including both currently available and new solutions:

Currently or Soon to be Available

  • Uni-Fi Dolby Atmos Surround-Sound System: Used as the basis of a two-channel system or multi-channel surround-sound system, the Uni-Fi series provides technology and performance that is normally reserved for speakers costing significantly more. The home theater system at the show will include the UF5 Floorstander Speaker, UC5 Center Speaker, and S12EQ 12-inch 1000-Watt Powered Subwoofer with Auto Room EQ.
  • Adante Series: Designed and built with precision engineering and superior craftsmanship, the series includes the AF-61 Floorstanding Tower Speaker, AS-61 Stand Mount Speaker, AC-61 Center Channel Speaker and ASW-121 Powered Subwoofer. This series will be available later this month.
  • Discovery Pro Music Server: The recently announced rackmountable unit enables music enthusiasts to manage their personal collection and content from streaming services, and distributes multi-room audio throughout the home.
